I had no insignas in 1:2000 scale, therefore i used a toothpick and put on insigna blue color and in a second step a little bit of white. It looks more bearable from distance as without any insignas.
The decal from Revell is printed in Yellow, I cannot imagine that an aircraft carrier in WWII will travel with a beacon light on the deck on the pacific. Masked and painted in dark grey as I figured out on original photos.
This is not really a kit, this is a Toy. It's not worth the time, effort or money. But I finished. To add the insignas on the very little planes makes the Model much more vividly.
