SkyhikerI hung out with a guy who pulled an original P-47 named Dottie Mae out of a lake. It was super risky for him financially but it paid off in the end. It could have gone either way; become a millionaire or go to jail for 20 years and be millions in debt for ruining the water table. Everything went relatively ok and there weren't any major environmental consequences, even though they did have a costly false alarm.

SkyhikerYes, that is the plane I was talking about. It was interesting to meet the guy who found it and pulled it out of the lake. Very cool to hang out with him.
