Thanks guys! It took a while, but I think the result was worth it. I used the Panzertracts softcover on the Panther G as a reference.

How did you get all of those shapes and how did you cut the brass to the shape and different sizes amd stack them????

I have a good supply of metal bits and Evergreen plastic. To cut the sections of metal, I have a REALLY small pipe cutter. The rest is just picking the right size according to the plans.

Wow sir, just wow! Your scratch building skills are amazing, the amount of patience it must take, do this kind of work at this scale, is mind boggling! Kudos and 2 thumbs up to you sir! I'm totally following your builds. Cheers, Willy 🙂

This is my scratchbuilt infrared unit in 1/48 scale. An MV Lens was used and glass-dyed blue. The rest is plastic, aluminum, copper and brass. On hold until I do some more research.
