It is always good to add the most wanted kits on the Scalemates wishlist. My wife searched a gift for me and found the wishlist on Scalemates (yes, it seems sometimes she listen if I tell her something) and the final result is some plastic under the tree. I really love my wife 🙂
Has anybody else also got some plastic under the christmas tree?

Nice addition to your stash, i build the privateer a really long time ago. Back then, when i didn't paint models, but just put the decals on. Must warn you, the plastik of the kit isn't blue.😉 This christmas i got the Eduard Peshka and some aftermarket stuff for the Eduard Crusader from my sister and my brother.

Martin, that's a good deal😉 Be careful, Scale modelling and Cats are sometimes not compatible😉 but a very nice Kit, congratulations.
@David, I was aware, that the Privateer is not the newest kit, but I was suprised after I had a quick look into the box, it is not so bad as i have expected, but after I saw it in a store, I know that I need to have this. Wow, the Peshka is a cool kit, I didn't know this aircraft type until now.

@Marco If i remember it right, it has some raised panel lines. And the lines on the upper wings were a bit off. Other than that, it really is a cool plane and the shark mouth will sure make a great addition to the shelf.

David, you have absolutely right 👍 I had a quick look into the box and the raised panel lines were off or worn (sorry, can't find the right word in English) at some parts, especially the upper wing, like as you said. There also some sink holes. But I'm agree with you, in the final result, it will be looking great in the Showcase with the blue camo and the shark mouth.

My hobby room will be off limits for the four-legged-destroyer. I assume that after a good eye to eye conversation the critter will understand 😄
That Petlyakov looks like a really nice kit. Keep us posted please.
Aaah, the Privateer. I'd like to get my hands on one of those someday. But first some shipbuilding.

I have got a DORA gun 1/35 and the Takom M3 Grant. but i will need some parts for the DORA gun to start that project.
