Monaonly thing really missing is the "Coleman" lantern's that are often seen with the buses at events ..like the Spring Picnic and Campout or Split Splash , and various other Jamborees ...Really nice bus 🙂

Michael KohlI particularly like the color choice and the nicely faded paint. Doesn't show that this is an easy click kit.

@DW ... Man. I don't get all this rust things and weathering never ever. Ich raff's nicht 😄 I hate it. Always have a picture in my mind, how it should look like but never get it done.

This kit was not love on the first sight...i hate the orange plastic to paint...so i decided to use "real car primer" for a basecoat (rusteybrownred) and painted "altweiß" without clearcoat. i wanted an old look, not tooo old - still well used.
The body is sanded till the basecoat came thru and the rest was "easypeasy" with the rust.
About three month later i found the surfboards and built the roofrack.
Now, i like that bus a lot. all doors are still funktional 😉
@Neuling: agree. my favorite parts also are the hubcaps. And the front wheel :-D
