Chris GreathouseTheses are all the paintable pieces (and sanded) in this kit, there's also about 15 pieces of chrome and 15 pieces of clear, really small kit, but super cute truck 😄 Priming tomorrow. Highlighter for size.

Chris GreathouseSo... bad news/good news... the bad: the bed rails for the type D model (black truck on box) are missing from the kit / the good: I'm building the Type R (Green) I love these kits where you can build multiple styles of the vehicle, and I'm glad the pieces missing were ones that I didn't need 😄

Chris GreathouseGot all 24 paintable pieces primed... Half of those are black, half of the remaining pieces are interior Grey, and the other half of the remaining pieces are exterior Green.... this kit kind of makes me laugh with how small it is, but I'm lookin' for that Midget awesomeness 😄

I don't know what it is, but those 3rd world trucks carry more than they weigh, and from what I experienced in Iraq,Afghanistan and Korea, the fellows that load these things up like this have to be some kind of Tetris Ninja's ! Will look great next to the FXX LOL, you should load it up too !

Greg BakerExcited to see how this one turns out. These mini trucks are neat, and their development as cheap workhorses in the post-war period is an interesting story as well. Very useful for their size in places like Japan and Korea, where space is at a premium.
Also, I'd suggest you set your album default to the last pic. It's an easy one-time selection, and then even casual observers who aren't subscribed to the thread can monitor the progress. I kinda wish more people would do that if they don't plan to curate their photo albums with each update.

Chris GreathouseFinished!! and I got to play with my new photo booth, now I need a real camera instead of a 7 year old camera phone... 😛 This is one rad little truck, it may be my all favorite build... and not just because it only had 50ish pieces 😛 This is my second Fujimi build, and so far that brand is a pleasure to work with, 99% of everything fit like a glove 😄

Chris GreathouseHee... went to bed around 2ish 😛 I'd say the build took about 3 hours maybe... I love Rocko, such a horrible, vulgar, awesome cartoon, same with Ren & Stimpy 😛.... In fact I named my corn snake Rocko 😄
