It's interesting; I missed a piece that , if memory serves, separated the engine and the gear box which I was afraid had screwed the whole thing up as the rear wheels and rear wing were that centimeter off. Somehow I managed to jam the whole thing together. John, was it the front body part or the rear that won't sit for you?

Nice job Bossy! I will watch my parts very carefully, all 12 million of them. Just started cutting parts off the sprue yesterday.

Yep, i thought i'd built enough Cosworths that I didn't need to pay attention to the instructions and well, I was wrong. Oops! But I salvaged it. One of these days I should get back to the Elio version.

Yeah, I can't recall any problems with the front. But I built it "so long ago" that I can't remember. When I realized my mistake with the engine/gear box, I actually boxed this one and bought another one and started it. Then for some reason, I broke this one out, jammed the rear end on and was pleasantly surprised it all worked. Slapped on the kit decals ( I really had no intention of doing a Mansell or a smoke free version) and that's what I got.
