I have already tried this kit, however, the assembly went completely wrong.
A year later I ordered it again and hope that the next attempt went better🙂
So: follow your progress!

The alignment of those multi-part hulls and turrets is indeed a challenge and I can easily see it going wrong to be honest. While I had only minor problems with this particular kit, I do remeber having issues with the hull of the Centauro I built some time ago. After all I think those kits are worth putting in that little extra-effort!

Hope to see the BTR-82, but Alexey said he won't do "ruSSian" armor anymore...
Maybe as Ukrainian vehicle...

Can´t blame him for that decision at all... However, converting this kit to a BTR-82 seems to be plausible and I had once given it some thought. The hardest part of said rework would in my mind be resculpting the turret front. Engine deck-changes should be achievable by cutting out/sanding down the old details and scratchbuilding the new ones. As hinte however, this will be task for someone more confident in their scratchbuilding-ability than I have in mine at the moment 🙂

It´s taking shape! Nice thing to watch your progress!
Good idea to cover the sides of the base with texture past, i think that's a good way.

Spectacular finish👍👍
Vehicle, base and paint job fits very well together!
What do you use for the tail lights, or they are painted? And wich color have you used for the green?

For the green I went with a mix from Tamiya Dark Green and NATO Green. The mix was then lightened up with Deck Tan for highlights. The taillights are basecoated with an acrylic silver paint and then I applied Tamiya Clear Red onto it 👍
