Beemax' carbon decal instructions are WAY off. Having to figure out what goes where on my own....eeep!

I was all ready for a wrestling match with the carbon seat back decals and they went on like a dream.

I hate doing harnesses..... Aced Beemaxes ribbon as I couldn't get the damn thing threaded through the buckles so i've used HGW belts instead. I think the Sabelt emblems might be a tad too large/long. Oh, well.....

Started the decals and was rather shocked at these decals. They will stretch, i've never experienced that before. And the ones that didn't get f'd just coming off the paper, I found that trying to smooth them out with a brush: BIG no no. These things are super sensetive. They adhere great but getting any bubbles out is tricky at best.

So, this project is killed because Beemax was kind enough to give a defective piec along with a replacement piece that somehow got crossed over. I guess you put that on me for using the defective piece but I will argue that the defective piece should not have even made it into the box. Regardless, the windscreen does not fit the piece I used. Nice job B.

So this has turned into a 2 kits to make 1 model thing ( LOVE those). But, taking the knowledge gained from kit A, I was able to get the decals down with distorting them ( as you can see on the right hand kit). These are very interesting decals in that they are very maliable all on their own, no softener needed. But you have to be SO gentle while pressing them over uneven surfaces.

Olala....sounds bad at the moment...not that quality as thought about beemax? Makes me wondering.

The quality is different. It's good but unlike anything i've worked with before. I still think including the defective cab piece was incredibly dumb. Hopefully my experience will help guide other builders around the tricky spots of this kit.
