Started model kits long time ago with basic airplanes kits. Went to 1/72 military for ten years, then moved to 1/35 in 1996. I made a break of 24 years and now I am back. I currently still have old kits that waited to be done.

Back in the 90's Italeri, Revell, Tamyia and Dragon made the law together with the Humbrol tinlet enamels. Verlinden and Kirin were the "master class" kits. Zvezda had only about 10 kits available. I still have the "catalog" consisted of a one piece of A4 printed both sides. Now, returning to this hobby I find that the market evolved so much...Trumpeter, Academy, Takom, ICM, Meng, AFV, MiniArt, MasterBox, RyeFiled... what did I miss all these years ? Was afraid that no one will build anything now that population "live" online. I was wrong, and I am so happy that people get more creative. BTW, instead of Humbrol now is a Ammo and AK invasion beside Vallejo. All these brands changed the miniature world. I really hope that old guys will still compete: Revell, Tamyia and Italeri and doens't get lost in this new era.
