April 27, 2024Compared to the Me-262 the Kikka is much smaller, has no swept back wings and looks more conventional.3
April 27, 2024I'm not spending a lot of effort on the cockpit, since the canopy will be closed. I only have to add some seatbelts now.4
July 7, 2024Main assemblies coming together...5
July 7, 2024Dark grey primer. I'm using enamel paints for this one.6
July 7, 2024Undersides are Revell FS36270. Uppers are Revell Matt 48 mixed with Humbrol 149 1:1. I wanted to use and mix what I have in the paint stash.7
July 7, 2024I think the paint mix looks pretty good like the Imperial Japanese Navy green which the airplane had. National markings are spray painted on. Decals feel very thick, just like the ones on the Reppu from FineMolds.8
October 27, 2024Finished! From this angle there is a striking resemblance to the Me-2629
