Wow what detail for an old kit!!! Yeah it has raised detail but it is all exquisitely rendered. I originally bought this kit because I want to use the open canopy on my Academy "Showtime" kit because it has nice detail and recessed panel line but this Revell(Monogram) oldie's cockpit detail puts the Academy one to shame!
I will use the open canopy on this Revell kit and put the closed on on my Academy one.
This is truly a gem of a kit!!!

Built it years ago (the Monogram Yellow-Tail edition and yes, fully agree, it is very well detailed, too bad all the details are raised.
