Hi community! I'm really looking forward to build this set, however I have a question in the back of my head, I could not find any explanation on the internet: Lots of pictures of the AMX show a layout with fuel tanks on the outboard pylons and bombs inboards (as well on this boxart), which looks kind of counterintuitive to me, and as I know that all 4 wing pylons are able to carry external tanks. Or even tanks on the outboard pylons with no additional load inboards. Does anyone know the reason for this?

Hallo Jens, according to an Italian publication:
"The AMX has two underwing pylons on each wing and one ventral pylon. The outer underwing pylons can carry loads up to 1000 lbs (approximately 450 kg) and the inboard pylons carry loads up to 2000 lbs (approximately 900 kg) and are all capable of using underwing drop tanks. The central fuselage pylon can carry loads of up to 2000 lbs. Load doublers, called Twin Store Carriers, can be installed on the internal pylons and on the fuselage centre." Antonio Cucurachi, AMX: Radiografia di un velivolo, in Aviazione, dicembre/gennaio 1988/89
