I enjoyed building this kit much less than I thought I would. It's not a bad kit--actually, it's quite excellent. The detail is excellent, and it's a great subject. The problem was one, no interior painting guide, and two, it was a bit beyond my skill level. And I feel that a lot of this, involving parts that fit, but were joined in such a flimsy or ambiguous way, led to a feeling that I wasn't being challenged as a modeler so much as tested. I felt the MBL were throwing me curve balls all the time with a gleeful, "Let's see if he can attach these parts!" I understand that I'm mainly criticizing my own skill level, not the quality of the kit, but inexperienced modelers should beware!

As I say, an excellent kit but perhaps not quite compatible with my skills. I liked the result, but there was much more grousing during the build than I wanted there to be. I don't think there's another 1/35 Dingo available--maybe an old one from Tamiya.
