It really baffles the mind as to why Tamiya chose not to include the basic interior from the original M113 or the Acav kits. It would of fit in this kit as its essentially the same mold. A really poor release because of that.

Tamiya is falling behind other companies when it comes to detail. The 1/48 Austin K2 was on my wishlist until I found that inside the back is completely empty. Even the 1969 1/76 Airfix kit had an interior.

I agree, one thing that always bugged me after I matured was just how low detail their figures are and I always noticed that their figures seemed to be more of a 1/32 scale because DML/Dragon figures were always a tad smaller so they were never compatible together in a diorama or build. Its sad because some of the new Tamiya kits are nice externally but if they want to compete they are going to have to get new figure artists and they are going to have to start making more vehicles with at least a bare interior.
The prices are also a bit to high given the lack of detail when compared to some of the competition.
