Nice topic, the kit however is not for the faint of heart! At least my kit has some serious fit issues, starting with the hull. Hatches won't fit, locator holes and pins don't match in size etc. Has anyone else finished this kit?

Except for the multi part lower hull, which is tricky, I had no problems.

It is certainly not you. I would remember ( and blacklist) such things as ill fitting hatches etc. As I said the only downside of these kits is the lower hull. I bow to anyone, who can build it perfectly.
I have built the B and the D version ( and have the C in my stash) and both went together nicely.
Maybe you got a bad kit- a Montagsprodukt as it is called in german- the first sprues to come out of the machine after a long weekend, so to speak.

Maybe... Have not used that much putty in a long time. But now that I managed to assemble the lower hull w/o throwing the whole model out of the window things come along nicely 🙂
